We began in a little red brick house on N. 16th Street in north Boise, overflowing with rare and unusual handmade items from around the globe.  The 'buzz' about this fun new retail import store took off quickly and after 2 years,  we made a move to 8th & Fort Street in the Fort Street Shopping Center, expanding into a much larger space, to meet the demands and desires of our enthusisastic customers and friends!  Adjacent to the Boise Co-op, we thrived in the Fort Street location for 11 years, as an international market place tucked away in Boise's northend.  Ready to expand and ad an attic upstairs to accommodate our business needs, we instead took a forced move to  our current location at 16th & Grove Street, in downtown Boise.  We are locally owned and operated.   

 

A longtime locals favorite, we are an eclectic ethnic shop, with an atmosphere and experience like no other!  Residing here in our expanded Grove Street location since August 2007, we are a vast emporium of incredible treasures, collectables, and fashions from many Asian countries, as well as Mexico, Spain, Poland, Guatemala, Columbia, here in the USA & more!  Our tall reaching ceilings display an abundance of natural light, allowing us to display our beautifully handmade wall hangings, tapestries, masks, mirrors, and exotic handmade art pieces in a stunning atmosphere.

We feature an amazing selection of exotic and festive imported clothing for women, men and children.  Our 80 feet of jewelry cases are chock full of stunning gems and silver jewelry. We've got the best selection of incense in Boise!  We sell books, candles, CD's, handpainted mirrors, singing bowls, alter cloths, & malas, flags, hats, scarves, belly dancewear, pillow covers, bedcovers, tapestries, bags & purses, shoes, batik sarongs.... and more!  We strive to offer Boise a “Window to the World” by providing a wide selection of unique products from around the globe, affordably priced, in a festive atmosphere ....and topped off with personalized friendly customer service ! 

Most of our cool stuff... is manufactured by foreign, family-minded businesses.  We feel good that we are supporting creative people in villages & cities in foreign lands...feeding the global economy.  We feel that making socially conscious choices is as equally pure and rewarding in far away third world countires, as it is in our own community.  We have experienced both, and as a company, we are committed to continually sharing in the pure joy that comes from giving back.  We embrace fair trade practices, & make great efforts to do business with artists & suppliers who do also... because it is the right thing to do.
